It was the three of them together again. They all sat in one room, even though none seemed to be interested in breaking the silence. The flame-haired man pushed himself off the wall he was leaning against. He took a couple of steps across the floor in order to drag the remaining two back into focus.
'We must not waste time on pondering, my brethren', he began, almost whispering.
'Stating the obvious, eh?', replied one of his companions, who sat at a table, with his arms crossed on his chest and ankles on each other. His eyes complemented a smirk as he interrupted.
'Let him speak, Gabriel', growled a voice belonging to the third man, 'Why don't you, for once, focus on the matter at hand instead of making remarks?' the tone remained feral, as its owner clenched his fist and moved his gaze to the floor.
Gabriel's eyes rolled as he shrugged. The first speaker, in turn nodded at the massive figure.
'We are yet again stuck in these...forms in order to repair a malfunction that is not of our own making' he tugged at his shirt and glanced at the palm that did so, giving away a feeling of disgust.
'However, the source of the corruption is unknown to us and that is what we will have to start with', his stare jumped between his compations and sought their acknowledgement.
'My advice, Mike...', Gabriel spoke again. 'If you wanna get out on the street and start sniffing, you better drop the rhetoric hokey-pokey and talk like a human being!'
Michael locked his gaze with the author of the comment and sighed.
'As much as I do not find it amusing, it is indeed a point. What say you, Raphael?', he asked the growler.
'I say we move' - decided the tall one, his eyes glinting.
